Hello, PLEDIS Entertainment is the name of the firm, “begins their statement with the company.”
“We’d like to share some information with you on SEVENTEEN member WONWOO’s diagnosis with COVID-19 and subsequent changes to his activity.
“Wonwoo tested positive on the self-test kit on Friday, February 11, after developing a sore throat and a minor fever. On Saturday, February 12, he instantly underwent a PCR test and was proven to have COVID-19. Wonwoo is now displaying no unusual symptoms other than a sore throat and a slight temperature, and is self-treating at home.
“HOSHI, who had contact with Wonwoo on Wednesday, September 9th, did a self-test kit and a fast antigen test, both of which came back negative. He also conducted a preemptive PCR test to safeguard the safety of others and is awaiting the results.
“Due to the fact that it was the artists’ time of relaxation, all seventeen members, save HOSHI, had avoided contact with Wonwo and were living with their parents. All the other seventeen members performed preemptive self-testing, which resulted in a negative result, and none of them are exhibiting any symptoms.
“As a result, both WONWOO and HOSHI will be absent from today’s SEVENTEEN 9th Mini Album [Attacca] Release Online Event and the subsequent events. We will keep you informed about their upcoming activities.
“We will continue to assist Wonwoo’s quick recovery, putting our artists’ health and safety first. Additionally, we will continue to fully collaborate with healthcare authorities’ demands and recommendations, “PLEDIS entertainment has decided.
