U-19 Asia Cup; Green Shirts face Sri Lanka today
Lahore: The Green Shirts will face Sri Lanka in the semi-finals of the Under-19 Asia Cup.
Pakistan, unbeaten in Group A of the Under-19 Asia Cup in the UAE, made it to the semi-finals. The team will face Sri Lanka in the semi-finals to be played at the ICC Academy on Thursday. I did not see continuity, however, on important occasions someone has helped me out of a difficult situation by carrying the burden of expectations.
Abdul Wahid Bangalzai and Moaz Sadaqat will be the focus of the Green Shirts’ hopes for a good start. Muhammad Shehzad, captain Qasim Akram and wicketkeeper-batsman Haseebullah Khan have the ability to play big innings. Victims can play match winning innings.
Along with captain Qasim Akram, Ahmed Khan, Mohammad Shehzad and Moaz Sadaqat are also eligible to be useful in bowling, Mohammad Zeeshan and Mehran Mumtaz are also in good form.
On the other hand, the top 4 batsmen of the Sri Lankan team are Chamanda Vikrama Sangha, Shaun Daniel, Sadisha Raja Paksa and captain Valleig are in great form.
Pakistani bowlers have to curb their aggression from the beginning. There are 7 bowlers available to the Islanders including all-rounders. In the last 5 bilateral matches, 3 Green Shirts, 2 Sri Lankans have won. ۔
India will face Bangladesh in the second semi-final scheduled in Sharjah. Blue shirts are being declared as favorites but Tigers have the potential to surprise any opponent.
