Petrol and diesel sales fall in June.

ISLAMABAD: Compared to June of the previous year, demand for gasoline and diesel fell by 8% and 10%, respectively.

Details show that demand for gasoline dropped to 702,000 tonnes in June, while sales of diesel fell from 776,000 tonnes in June of last year to 713,000 tonnes in June.

In June, sales of furnace oil went up 33% because the government used it to make electricity after coal and RLNG prices went up in the world market.
