The UAE FM pays a visit to the Pakistan Pavilion and expresses condolences for the death of a Pakistani in the Abu Dhabi incident.
His Majesty On Wednesday, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nayhan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, paid a visit to the Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Afzaal Mahmood, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, welcomed him. His Majesty Sheikh Al Nayhan expressed his condolences on the tragic death of a Pakistani national in a terror assault in Abu Dhabi on January 17, 2022.

He pledged Ambassador Mahmood’s full cooperation in the repatriation of the deceased’s corpse and the treatment of the two Pakistanis injured.
The FM strongly appreciated the government of Pakistan’s declaration of sympathy and solidarity in the aftermath of the terrible terrorist atrocities. He commended the Pakistan Expo team for efficiently showcasing the country’s potential at Expo 2020.

Warmly welcomed by His Highness, Ambassador Mahmood extended Pakistan’s sincere sympathies and reiterated Pakistan’s government and people’s support to the leadership and people of the UAE. He sharply criticised the Houthis’ cowardly attack on the people.
The envoy praised the UAE government for its condolences to the family of a Pakistani person who was killed in the incident, as well as its assistance to the injured. He also thanked the UAE for its unwavering support for the Pakistan Expo team.

The two stated their desire to further develop the two nations’ brotherly connections. Throughout the course of their relationship, Pakistan and the UAE have been supportive of one another.
