The rupee keeps losing value against the dollar in interbank markets.

The dollar was worth Rs2.08 more than the rupee.

Karachi On the third business day of the week, the Pakistani rupee kept going down in the interbank market.

Details show that the dollar gained Rs2.08 against the rupee and was being sold for Rs234.

Even though the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) got much-needed money from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the dollar is still on a roll (IMF).

Experts in economics say that the fall of the rupee is caused by the rise of dollar indexes around the world and the country’s rising current account deficit.
