According to Ali Zaidi, Port Qasim’s earnings climbed by 29% to Rs. 19.76 billion in the fiscal year 2021.

Port Qasim’s yearly spending has also been cut by 2.18 percent, and the company has paid the Pakistani government Rs. 8 billion in taxes.

While posting his remarks on Twitter, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi expressed his delight with Port Qasim’s outstanding performance.

Port Qasim, according to Ali Zaidi, Port Qasim is a shining example of how to administer a state institution with professionalism.

He went on to say that the country’s institutions are improving under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leadership.

On the other hand, Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Trade, stated that Pakistan’s exports had surged by 25%.

Exports totaled 15.125 billion in the first half of the current fiscal year, compared to 12.11 billion at the same time in the previous fiscal year.

In December, total exports were 2.76 billion, compared to 36.36 billion in December of the previous year.
