The National Open Age Swimming Championship started with six events for women and 14 for girls on the first day.On the opening day of National Open Age Swimming Championship, Fatima Lotia of Army won gold medal in women’s 50m backstroke, Arisha Lari of Sindh won silver and Karan Khan of Army won bronze medal.

WAPDA’s Jahan Ara Nabi won gold in women’s 100m freestyle, Army’s Behesht Shaan won silver and Army’s Iman Sheikh won bronze medal while Wapda’s Jahan Ara Nabi won gold medal in 200m IM. Khan Silver and Mahim Ali of Islamabad were awarded bronze medals.

Army’s Bismillah Khan wins gold in women’s 50m freestyle, WAPDA’s Amina Amir wins silver and WAPDA’s Sara Khan wins bronze, WAPDA’s Mashal Ayesha Ayub wins gold in women’s 100m breaststroke, Sindh Hareem Malik won silver and Army’s Elham Aman Khan won bronze medal. In the women’s 800m freestyle relay, WAPDA came first, Army second and Sindh third.

In the girls event, the Army team won six gold, four silver and three bronze medals, the WAPDA team won four gold, two silver and one bronze medal while the Sindh team won three gold, six silver and five bronze medals. Won medals, Punjab team won one gold, one silver medal, Navy won one silver and four bronze medals.
