The Minister of Commerce says he will help the textile industry.
ISLAMABAD: Commerce and Investment Minister Syed Naveed Qamar has promised to help the textile industry solve its problems with all the help he can give.
During a meeting with a delegation from the textile industry in Karachi, he pushed for the products to be more varied and for new markets to be found.
At the meeting, people talked about how to get more market access to different countries, especially Canada, Australia, and South Africa. They also talked about how to get more out of the GSP-plus status that the European Union gave to Pakistan.
The Minister of Commerce asked the members of the delegation to bring concrete ideas to a meeting on Monday in Islamabad.
