The CEO of Henkel says that the uncertain economy makes it hard to plan.

Berlin: The head of the chemical and consumer goods company Henkel told the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that the uncertain state of the economy makes it hard to make plans for the next few weeks.

“We live in a time when it’s hard to know for sure what will happen in the next few weeks,” Carsten Knobel told a newspaper on Wednesday.

“We are still assuming cost increases in the middle 20 percent range, which has been stable over the past few months,” he said. “But it’s too soon to say what will happen in 2023.”
