Trade of Asia

By Amb: Rehmatullah Javed founder mission chief & Secretary General of SAARC chamber

National security & Economic stability are two fundamentals for the sovereignty of Pakistan. These two are also most important to each other for the industrial growth to enhance exports & promote made in Pakistan. Pakistan can not afford to remain on a grey list in the world business markets because this will slow down our global sales & exports. Government must cool down the political temperature & revive the investors confidence. China is great investor and China must be given due respect.Government must use its best sources of business diplomacy to keep Pakistan on clean business corridors. South Asia is a big market & completely ignored by the policy makers of Pakistan & there is a big potential to enhance exports in these south Asian countries because we have great skills and our quality of goods is much better and meeting required standards of south Asian countries but we are not taking the due benefit there fore trade volume remains 7% which is just nothing. South Asian countries are located around Pakistan which is a big natural advantage. Our trade officers must play their role dedicatedly by providing market reports branding reports prices structure packing marking along with all suitable information for a better competition of Pakistani exporters in these markets. It is strongly suggested that single country exhibition in all these countries must be . held.I also draw attention of the policy makers of Pakistan to utilise the services of SAARC chamber to promote trade & enhance exports because SAARC chamber is located at Islamabad and its offices are now just shifted in the new building with full cooardination with SAARC member countries.
