Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced the opening of Karachi’s Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre before the end of next year.
People in Lahore and Peshawar have Shaukat Khanum cancer centers, and he said that the new one would be bigger than both of them.
According to the prime, the hospital will be outfitted with cutting-edge technology.

“SKMT Karachi is on track to open by the end of the year. It would be larger than SKMT Peshawar and Lahore, and will be equipped with cutting-edge technology, “he said.
People in Pakistan who have cancer can go to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centers (SKMCH & RC) in Lahore and Peshawar to get treatment.
The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, organized by Pakistan’s Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, was the first project of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust.
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center is Prime Minister Imran Khan’s initiative. The hospital was founded as a memorial to his mother, Mrs. Shaukat Khanum, who died of cancer in 1985.
