SHAHZAD AKBAR WARNS CCPO NOT TO MAKE ANY MORE CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENTS
Counsel to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar said Friday that the Central City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Umar Sheik had been “cautioned” against his questionable comments on the motorway case.
“The CCPO has cautioned against offering such comments later on,” he said while talking in Geo News program “Naya Pakistan”.
Akbar said that the cop’s remarks were “wrong” and that Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar had looked for a composed clarification from him.
Sheik had accused the survivor of the Lahore Sialkot motorway assault episode for experiencing the course that she picked and said that she ought to have checked her petroleum tank before jumping on the said course.
