Shahid Afridi thanked the Australians for coming to Pakistan after 24 years.
Australia’s first visit to Pakistan in 24 years was a resounding success.
The Australians won the Test series 1-0 and also won yesterday night’s lone T20I by three wickets.
Pakistan won the one-day international series 2-1 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistani captain, slammed the Australian team and management for going to Pakistan and making the tour a big hit.
In a tweet, Afridi said: “I’d like to thank the whole Australian team and the management for coming back to Pakistan after 24 years.”

He also expressed optimism that additional major teams will pay Pakistan a visit.
He also commended the security personnel for their efforts. He also expressed gratitude to the supporters who came to the stadiums to watch the matches and cheer for their side.
