Shahid Afridi responds to atrocities against Muslims in Palestine, India,

In a speech Friday, Shahid Afridi, the former captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, said that he was disgusted by what happened at the Al Aqsa Mosque and the problems that Muslims in India are facing.

More than 150 Palestinians were hurt when Israeli riot police raided a compound in Jerusalem called the Al-Aqsa mosque on Friday. This is the latest in a recent rise in violence that has raised fears of a wider conflict.

Muslims in several Indian states were on edge after mobs came out in procession, made hate speeches, and attacked their homes, Al Jazeera said.

It was heartbreaking to watch videos of Muslims being hated and killed at Al Aqsa mosque, which was where they went to pray.

In the same way, tearing down Muslim family homes in India is cruel. My heart goes out to our brothers and sisters who are in trouble. Twitter is Afridi’s place to say things.

“What has mankind become?” he asked.
