The Melbourne couple who sent almost $6.6 million (10.5 million Australian dollars) to Crypto.com by mistake in 2021 says in court that they thought they had won the money in a contest.
Thevamanogari Manivel and her husband, Jatinder Singh, are currently on trial in the Victoria Supreme Court. They are accused of stealing money from Crypto.com last year and going on a spending spree with the money.
