Roshan Digital Accounts will now enable non-resident Pakistanis to open digital and internet accounts without having to visit a Pakistani bank branch, embassy, or consulate overseas using Roshan Digital Accounts. This procedure can be finished in as little as 48 hours.
Customers can open an account in either foreign currency or Pakistani rupees, or both.
Funds will be moved in full to these accounts without the need for regulatory permission.
It should be noted that there are over 9 million Pakistanis residing abroad who pay $23 billion in remittances to Pakistan each year to sustain their families.
