The Pakistan Super League (PSL) playoff schedule has been finalised, with two clubs ousted from the competition-Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators.
The Kings finished sixth in the PSL 7 season, while the Gladiators finished fifth.
The four surviving teams are the Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, and Islamabad United.

Round of qualifiers
Multan Sultans, who finished top in the points standings, will square off against Lahore Qalandars, who finished second. The match will take place on February 23 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Victorious teams go to the final, while the losing teams play in eliminator 2 against the winner of eliminator 1, which is called eliminator 2.
1 Eliminator
At the Gaddafi Stadium on February 24, Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United, who finished third and fourth in the points standings, will meet in eliminator 1.
2nd Eliminator
The winner of Eliminator 1—Islamabad United or Peshawar Zalmi—will play the qualifier’s losing team—Multan Sultans or Lahore Qalandars.
This is the penultimate match before the final, and the club that wins will face the team that won the qualifier in the PSL 7 final.
The match will take place under the lights at Gaddafi Stadium on February 25.
Final
The final game will be held at Gaddafi Stadium under the lights on February 27 (Sunday) at 7:30 p.m.
