Prime Minister Imran Khan urged that actions be taken to provide maximum relief and to ensure that the public get excellent services.
He was speaking with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, who paid him a visit Wednesday in Lahore.
PM Imran directed the CM to safeguard people’s rights, lives, and property and to take strong action against encroachers, holders, and other miscreants in society.
The prime minister was updated on developmental initiatives underway around the province during the meeting.
Civil administration and law and order issues were also considered during this time.
Tuesday, the PTI administration hiked the cost of POL products once again. Petrol prices were increased by Rs12.03 per litre to Rs159.86, High-Speed Diesel (HSD) prices were increased by Rs9.53 to Rs154.15, Kerosene prices were increased by Rs10.08 to Rs126.56, and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices were increased by Rs9.43 to Rs123.97.
Fawad Chaudhry, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, subsequently connected the rise in the cost of POL goods to an increase in crude oil prices on the international market and the Ukraine issue.
