THE Jan 31 ‘cutoff time’ that the Pakistan Democratic Movement had set for the leader to leave has gone back and forth, and the PTI government is looking more sure than any time in recent memory. Ongoing gatherings between Prime Minister Imran Khan, armed force boss Gen Qamar Bajwa and DG ISI Lt Gen Faiz Hameed — the most recent on Monday was the fourth in a simple 40 days — have strengthened the impression of institutional congruity and, subsequently, going great for the current allotment.
The PDM’s vessel then again, while not actually spilling, is by all accounts fairly rudderless and loose. PPP executive Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari tweeted: “The chose PM has neglected to leave by the cutoff time set by the PDM for this ill-conceived system and botched the chance to move to one side in a decent way… .” He added that a long walk plan and no-certainty movement would “ideally”A be talked about in the PDM meeting supposedly booked for later in Islamabad.
