Pilots at Eurowings have begun a strike over workload.

BERLIN – According to their union, pilots at Lufthansa’s budget airline, Eurowings, started a three-day strike over working hours on Monday. This action could affect thousands of passengers.

“It’s started. And there hasn’t been a new offer yet, “Vereinigung Cockpit (VC), which is a union for pilots, said.

The union wants Eurowings to make pilots’ jobs easier by doing things like giving them more time to rest.

Early on Monday, flights were cancelled at airports in DĂĽsseldorf, Cologne, Hamburg, and Stuttgart.
