Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves have decreased by $231 million to $23.49 billion.
Karachi: As of February 11, 2022, Pakistan’s liquid foreign currency reserves were down $231 million to $23.49 billion.
According to figures issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, the country’s foreign currency reserves were at $23.721 billion as of the week of February 4, 2022. (SBP).
Official foreign currency reserves at the central bank dropped $241 million in the week ending February 11, 2022, from $17.337 billion the week before. That’s down from $17.337 billion the week before.
During the week ending February 11, 2022, commercial banks’ foreign currency reserves rose by just $10 million. They were $6.394 billion, up from $6.384 billion a week before that.
