Pakistanis from all across the globe responded to Imran Khan’s call: Faisal
ISLAMABAD: Faisal Javed Khan, leader of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), stated Monday that last night was a historic day because, in response to a call by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Pakistanis not only in Pakistan but across the globe came out in support of a Pakistan with self-respect.
Throughout the night, chants of “imported government not acceptable” echoed, he added. History will record that you were there and spoke up against injustice,” he continued, alluding to Imran Khan’s ousting as prime minister through a no-confidence resolution.
Thousands of Pakistani people gathered at Karachi’s Millennium Mall in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Sunday night to demonstrate in response to former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s demand.
Similar large rallies were conducted around the nation, notably in Lahore’s Liberty Chowk, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Sialkot, against the regime’s purported ‘foreign plot”.
Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, said earlier that he would fight a “foreign plot” to destabilise Pakistan.
Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, has also thanked the people for their support and for taking to the streets to protest the government change.
There was a protest march outside the London home of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday.
The furious employees chanted chants against Imran Khan’s government’s removal. People who are fans of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz made their way to the Avenfield apartments to show their support for the party’s leader at the time.
