Pakistan will be discussed at the FATF conference scheduled for March 4.

ISLAMABAD: On March 4, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) will convene in Paris, and sources revealed that Pakistan would be considered during the conference.

Prior to the FATF meeting, on February 24 and 25, the FATF International Operations Review Board would convene to prepare recommendations on Pakistan. These proposals will be brought to the FATF conference for consideration.

Pakistan has achieved 26 of the FATF’s 27 criteria, followed by seven additional anti-money laundering and counter-terror funding targets.

According to official sources, work on all objectives is ongoing, and Pakistan is continuing to execute the targets in good faith.
