On April Fools’ Day, Twitter tweets about the long-awaited ‘edit’ function.
(Reuters) When Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) sent a message on April Fools’ Day, it said that it was working on an “edit” button, which made people laugh and cry.
In response to a question about whether the tweet was a joke, Twitter said in a statement, “We cannot confirm or deny. However, we reserve the right to change our statement later.”
Certain commentators lauded it.
Some found it amusing.
Others, though, did not.
Dictionary.com’s verified account tweeted a link to the “Definition of unfunny.”
