Naseeruddin Shah: Modi government’s hateful policy threatens civil war in India
Mumbai: Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah has warned of civil war in India if anti-Muslim campaign by Hindu extremists continues.
He warned in a recent interview that if the genocidal efforts of Muslims in India were not stopped immediately, Muslims would fight back and civil war would break out in the country.
Naseeruddin Shah, while talking to Wire Service in India about the Dharma Sansad members who had demanded genocide of Muslims in Haridwar 10 days ago, said, “I am surprised they know who they are talking about.” Are there We were born here, we belong here, and we will live here. It could lead to civil war.
The main question of the interviewer to Naseeruddin Shah was what does it feel like for Narendra Modi to be a Muslim in India? In response to this question, Nasiruddin Shah said that Muslims are being made backward and useless. They are being made second class citizens and this is happening in almost every sector.
The Indian actor said that an attempt was being made to spread a phobia among Muslims. They are trying to scare us. I am not afraid here because this is my home but I am worried about what will happen to my children.
On the complete silence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the demand for genocide of Muslims, Naseeruddin Shah said, “They do not care.” “At least you can’t accuse them of being hypocrites,” he added.
