Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party minister and former television actress Smriti Irani has been barred from entering the set of “The Kapil Sharma Show”.

Indian Minister for Human Resource Development Smriti Irani arrived on the set of “The Kapil Sharma Show” to record a show to promote his book, but was stopped by a guard at the main entrance of the set. “We have not been informed of your arrival and as a minister special arrangements have not been made for your security so we cannot allow you to enter,” the guard said.

Smriti Irani waited in her car outside the seat for 30 minutes but the show management did not contact her. After the departure of Smriti Irani, when the matter came to the notice of the show’s host Kapil Sharma, he became very angry with the bodyguard and telephoned Smriti Irani and apologized.
Kapil Sharma requested Smriti Irani to return to the seat but he refused saying that it was time for his flight.
