(Reuters) Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O), announced on Sunday that it had temporarily blocked many Google Maps products in Ukraine that provide real-time traffic information and how crowded various locations are.
The business said that it disabled the Google Maps traffic layer and live information on how popular locations such as shops and restaurants are in Ukraine for the safety of the country’s residents after discussing with sources, including regional authorities.
