ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has called offers for the development of the more than 10 km bit of Margalla Road, which remained slowed down for quite a long time.
A couple of days prior, the CDA welcomed offers from the development firms for Khayaban-I-Margalla from G.T. Street to D-12 equilibrium work under Package I.
In 2012, the metro office had granted agreement worth Rs 588 million for the development of a 8.5 km part of the street however the task couldn’t be finished as subsequent to finishing earthwork the worker for hire left the site and went to prosecution against the CDA.
The worker for hire asserted that the CDA didn’t give him an obstacle free land for the development of the street.
