Lufthansa says negotiations continue following the threat of a pilots’ strike.

BERLIN (Reuters) – Lufthansa stated on Monday that it was attempting to resolve a salary disagreement with pilots through ongoing conversations, after their union threatened a strike.

The German flagship carrier’s pilots voted in favour of industrial action by a margin of 97.6 percent on Sunday, although the VC union has stated that this does not necessarily imply a strike would be staged and has called for constructive initiatives.
