KLM repays the final Dutch government loan.
The Dutch airline KLM has repaid the final portion of loans granted by the Dutch government during the COVID-19 outbreak, the company announced Thursday.
Air France-KLM’s Dutch subsidiary said that it had paid back a total of 277 million euros ($289.2 million) on top of the 665 million euros it had already paid back.
The Dutch government provided 942 million euros in loans to the airline in 2020 as the pandemic hampered international travel.
