Due to the fuel charges adjustment (FCA), the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) is likely to lower the price of electricity for K-Electric (KE) customers by Rs 7.83 per unit in November 2022.
According to the facts, KE customers may get a relief of Rs3.15 billion because K-Electric has asked for a cut for its customers because of the quarterly change in fuel charges.
On November 30, NEPRA will hold a public hearing about KE’s request for a lower electricity rate.

With the approval, KE customers would be exempt from paying their electricity bills for the following month.
On Friday, November 11, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) cut the price of electricity for K-Electric customers by Rs5.13 paisas per unit.
According to a notification, fuel cost adjustments (FCAs) have caused the NEPRA to lower the tariff for the month of September 2022.
