ISPR Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited in Naushki

Balochistan, on Tuesday to honour Pakistan forces for their success and sacrifices in repelling a terror attack in the region, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

On February 2, the armed forces successfully thwarted two distinct terror strikes in Naushki and Panjur, Balochistan, and finished the clearance operation on February 5, killing 20 terrorists and losing nine priceless troops, including a junior and senior army officer.

According to a brief statement published by the military’s media wing, COAS Gen Bajwa will meet with troops who took part in the recently finished security operation in Naushki today and spend the full day with them.

Later, the COAS will be accompanied by Prime Minister Imran Khan, following which the dignitaries would be briefed in detail on the security situation in the region as well as the forces’ operational readiness to counterterrorist actions, if any.

According to the ISPR, COAS Gen. Bajwa and PM Imran Khan would also meet with tribal elders in Nauskhi.

PM Imran Khan will pay a visit to Naushki.

The premier’s Naushki visit was announced on the PM Office’s official Twitter account.

Today, Prime Minister Imran Khan will travel to Naushki in Balochistan for a day-long visit. The prime minister will be given key operational briefings during his visit, and he will also meet with soldiers and local elders in the region, “the tweet stated.
