Islamabad united appointed Azhar Mahmood as a new head coach

The Pakistani Super League (PSL) team of Islamabad United has appointed Azhar Mahmood as his new head coach.

Azhar Mehmood will be the head coach of Islamabad United at PSL 7 while before the former Pakistan All-Rounder is a bowling coach from Multan Sultan.

Islamabad United said in a statement that Azhar Mahmood was appointed as head coach in the place of Johan Botha from South Africa.

According to the statement, Botha will not be available to Islamabad United because of its busy schedule in Australia.

It should be noted that Azhar Mahmood is an Islamic player united in the first edition of PSL.
