IPL 2022: 5 Indian players who haven’t been sold yet can be signed as replacements.
The auction for the IPL 2022 mega event was full of surprises, with some high-profile names still not sold.
The IPL 2022 mega auction took place in Bengaluru last month over two days, and the 10 teams spent a lot of money to ensure a solid core for the next season. However, there were some shocks for fans as many of the tournament’s top names remained unsold and may return to the race as replacements for the IPL 2022 later.
Numerous variables have been taken into account while selecting players in the mega auction, and it is not simple to get a bid despite the ten-team increase this time. Performances at home in both the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy have been looked at, and the huge auction leaves little room for emotions.
Recent form and playing time are also evaluated by analysts, as each club will ensure that the backend work is completed, and they will have a significant part to play during the super auction. As a result, the long competition this year from March 26 to May 29 may just bring the players who haven’t sold back into the mix.

1-Suresh Raina
Suresh Raina went unsold in the IPL 2022 big auction, despite a stellar record in the cash-rich competition. Raina often dubbed “Mr. IPL” for his steady performances with the Chennai Super Kings over the years, is one of the tournament’s all-time greats and is expected to return as a replacement in IPL 2022.
Raina was unable to play in the IPL 2020 owing to personal issues, and when he returned in 2021, he was not as successful as he had been in the past. During the IPL 2021 season, Raina scored 160 runs in 12 games. This was a far cry from his best performance in the previous season, and he was not able to play in the last few games because of injury.
The 35-year-old, though, has scored 5528 runs in 205 IPL games, and his IPL expertise will be invaluable to any side. He is one of the greatest fielders India has ever produced and is lightning fast in the inner field, despite recent fitness issues. The left-hander will continue to be a valuable asset to any organisation if he can get some game experience, which will be critical to his recovery.
