International consumers’ FTX data is sought by Bahamian attorneys.
Authorities from all over the world are racing against time to bring the millions of victims of Sam Bankman-Fried, the CEO of FTX, to justice. Attorneys for the Securities Commission of the Bahamas are requesting access to FTX’s database of global customer data as part of the continuing investigations.
In order to help in their ongoing investigations, the Bahamian lawyers submitted an urgent motion to the Delaware bankruptcy judge asking for access to FTX’s customer database. The motion emphasised earlier unsuccessful attempts to access the database of the shut-down cryptocurrency exchange. The attorneys asserted that FTX staff members and legal counsel allegedly obstructed authorities’ access to crucial financial data.
