India’s equities fell at the closing of trading; the Nifty 50 fell by 0.5%.

USD/INR rose 1.04 percent to 80.88 and EUR/INR increased by 1.68 percent to 79.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 110.66.
