Urmila Matondkar criticises those who accuse SRK of “spitting” on Mangeshkar’s lifeless bones.

Urmila Matondkar, an actor-turned-politician, lambasted critics for accusing superstar Shah Rukh Khan ofspitting on Lata Mangeshkar’s mortal bones during her death rites.

Shah Rukh Khan was heavily chastised by Hindu fanatics after attending the funeral prayers of the late Lata Mangeshkar on Sunday. They alleged that the Baazigar star spit on the singer’s lifeless body.

He was spotted conducting a Duaan Islamic religious supplication—and blowing air into the mortal remains. His passionate farewell by saying a dua at the cremation yard, on the other hand, won hearts and sparked controversy.

In response, the Rangeela actress expressed her outrage at society’s “deteriorating” attitude.

“As a culture, we’ve degraded to the point where folks think prayer is spitting.

“You are talking about an actress who has represented the country at different worldwide venues,” she said, addressing the racist trolls. “Politics has descended to such low depths that it is truly sad,” observed India Today.

Furthermore, in response to the heartbreaking news of India’s nightingale’s death, Matondkar expressed tremendous grief.
