Amazon suspends services in Russia in the midst of the Ukraine conflict.

In the midst of the current conflict with Ukraine, Amazon has ceased doing business in Russia and halted Prime Video and shipping options.
Amazon made the announcement in a statement about their boycott of Prime Video and plans to stop all of their services in the country because of “the current crisis in Russia and Ukraine,” which they said was the reason.
Another thing: They also don’t want to share any of their goods with Russia and Belarus. This includes the video game New World, which is sold directly to Russian and Belarusian customers.
In addition, no new customers from Russia or Belarus will be able to use AWS cloud computing services, and no third-party merchants who sell to Russian vendors will be allowed to use AWS cloud computing services either.
The company’s primary objective at the time is to help the region’s “immense humanitarian needs,” and it has already committed $5 million to assist those impacted.
