From August, Norse Atlantic will fly between Gatwick and JFK.

Oslo – Norse Atlantic Airways said on Friday that it had started selling tickets for flights between London and New York. The low-cost airline wants to get a bigger share of the market on one of the busiest long-haul routes in the world.
Flights between London’s Gatwick Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport will start at 255 pounds ($322) for a round-trip, including taxes. The first flight is set for August 12.
Norse Atlantic will run a service every day, and it will soon announce more U.S. destinations.
The airline’s first flight will be from Oslo to New York on June 14. It hopes to do better than Norwegian Air by offering cheap transatlantic flights after getting cheap leases during the pandemic.
It has a fleet of 15 Boeing (NYSE: BA) 787 Dreamliners, but four of them are currently leased out to Air Europa of Spain.
