Caterpillar’s sales in the first three months of the year went up 14%.
(Reuters) – Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) saw its revenue rise 14.3% in the first three months of the year. Due to construction-related demand and higher commodity prices, more of its heavy equipment was sold. This led to more sales.
Sales and revenue for the quarter went up from $11.9 billion to $13.6 billion, which is more than double what they were last year.
