He says Ukraine needs $7 billion a month to make up for the money it lost because of the invasion.

WASHINGTON. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Thursday that his country needs $7 billion a month to make up for the economic damage caused by Russia’s invasion of it.

When Zelenskiy made an online speech to a World Bank forum, he said that the global community should remove Russia from international financial institutions right away. He also told all countries to cut ties with Moscow right away.

He said that Russia’s blockade of Black Sea ports has cut off Ukrainian exports, which has hurt the safety of food around the world.
