Elon Musk says he will find a new CEO for Twitter.

Elon Musk told Reuters on Wednesday that he plans to spend less time at Twitter and eventually find a new leader to run the social media company. He also said that he hoped to finish reorganising the company this week.

Musk made the comments while testifying in a Delaware court to defend himself against claims that his $56 billion pay package at Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) Inc. was based on easy-to-reach performance goals and was approved by a compliant board of directors.

Musk later said in a tweet that he would keep running Twitter until it was strong, even though it would “take some time.”

Musk’s tweet came after Twitter’s former CEO, Jack Dorsey, said he wouldn’t take the job. When asked by a Twitter user if he would take the job, Dorsey said “nope.”

Investors in Tesla are getting more and more worried about how much time Musk spends trying to fix Twitter.

Musk said in his testimony, “There will be a burst of activity right after the acquisition to reorganise the company.” “But after that, I plan to spend less time on Twitter.”

Musk also said that some Tesla engineers were helping to evaluate Twitter’s engineering teams, but that it was “voluntarily” and “after hours.”

The first two weeks of the billionaire’s ownership of Twitter have been full of sudden changes and chaos. He quickly got rid of Twitter’s previous CEO and other top leaders, and earlier this month, he fired half of the company’s employees.

Musk sent an email to Twitter employees early on Wednesday morning, telling them they had until Thursday to decide if they wanted to stay at the company and work “long hours at high intensity” or take a three-month payoff instead.
