ECP EMPOWERED AFTER CONTROVERSY
ISLAMABAD: As the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) meets today (Thursday) on the NA-75 Sialkot IV by-political race results debate, the Elections Act 2017 enables it to continue against the most elevated state functionaries for any activity that unfavorably influences the political decision measure.
The returning official (RO) saw that “at first sight, it looked as though the consequence of NA-75 had been messed with by the directing officials” and proposed re-surveying in 14 dubious surveying stations.
The Elections Act 2017 engages the ECP to continue against the highups that unfavorably influenced the political race measure.
Sub area 3 of segment 55 of the Elections Act engages the commission to “suspend or pull out any political decision official, a community worker or some other individual in the assistance of Pakistan” for their carelessness in directing free and reasonable races.
