Andrea Rossi, who used to run AXA Investment Managers, was named CEO of M&G.

London: M&G, a British company that manages investments, said on Thursday that Andrea Rossi, who used to run AXA Investment Managers, will take over as the company’s CEO.

Rossi will take over for John Foley, who led the split of M&G from its parent company, Prudential, in 2019 and said in April that he planned to retire.

Rossi most recently worked for Boston Consulting Group as a senior advisor. M&G said that the appointment was okayed by both the PRA and the FCA.

Rossi, who will make a base salary of 875,000 pounds ($942,725) and bonuses on top of that, said, “I am honoured to have been chosen as its next CEO. I look forward to driving growth in the business while also making it more efficient to better meet client needs.”

$1 is worth 0.9282 pounds.
