CDA FAILS TO DEVELOP BLUE AREA
ISLAMABAD: The capital city is being created without the development of Blue Area, causing a deficiency of room for business exercises.
The city, which should be created as per its all-inclusive strategy arranged by Greek firm Doxiadis Associates in 1960, is confronting a few difficulties in executing it.
The end-all strategy says the city’s private areas and focal business region (CBD), which is regularly known as Blue Area, ought to develop one next to the other. Yet, up until now, the Blue Area couldn’t see improvement past G-7 and F-7, however it should be extended up to F-17 and I-17 areas, which are last areas.
Since its beginning, the CDA completely built up the Blue Area along only two private areas – G-6, G-7 or F-6, F-7 up to Khyber Plaza.
