In these cases, the only thing users can do is temporarily turn off disappearing messages, forward the message to the same conversation, and then turn them back on again, even though this method takes a long time.

As a result of the problems, WhatsApp is making a feature that lets you keep certain messages in a conversation.

“As seen in this image, when you choose to retain a disappearing message in the conversation, a new notice appears asking whether you want to preserve the message,” WABetainfo stated.

According to the site, if users previously saved a fading message in the chat, they might choose to delete it afterward. A statement made by the app: “If you want to keep your message, you can do so.” The recipient can delete it at any time. ”

According to sources, this feature seems to be at an early stage of development, which means that, like with any other feature in development, the feature’s purpose may be altered before it is released, or the feature may be scrapped entirely.
