The Tages-Anzeiger and other Swiss media reported on Thursday that British American Tobacco (NYSE:BTI) will close a cigarette factory in Switzerland next year, putting 226 people out of work.
The workers’ union, Unia, said that the plant would close. The BAT (LON:BATS) plant was not able to comment right away.
