Bollywood celebs pay beautiful tributes to Bappi Lahiri.
Bappi Lahiri, a popular singer-composer, died on Tuesday night at the age of 69 in a Mumbai hospital owing to severe health difficulties. His cremation will take place on Thursday, according to a statement from his family.
As word of the Oo La La singer’s passing spread, fans and celebrities started flooding social media with condolences to Bappi Lahiri.
Several Bollywood stars, including Akshay Kumar, AR Rahman, Vicky Kaushal, and others, have written messages of support on their own social media pages.

Ajay Devgn, on the other hand, remarked, “Bappi Da was very adorable in person. However, his music had an edge. With Chalte Chalte, Suraksha, and Disco Dancer, he brought a more current sound to Hindi film music. Dada Shanti. “You will be much missed.”
Bappi Lahiri, well known for his obsession with gold, had B-town dancing in the 1980s and 1990s with his famous disco tracks such as Chalte Chalte, Disco Dancer, and Sharaabi.

Bappi Da was so endearing in person. But, his music had an edge. He introduced a more contemporary style to Hindi film music with Chalte Chalte, Suraksha & Disco Dancer.

His first major Bollywood blockbuster score was for the film Zakhmee, directed by Aamir Khan’s father, Tahir Hussain.
Bappi Lahiri has performed songs for films such as Ooh La La for “The Dirty Picture,‘ Tune Maari Entriyaan for “Gunday,” Tamma Tamma for “Badrinath Ki Dulhania,‘ and, most recently, Areey Pyar Kar Le for “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.”
