Bill Gates looks forward to extending his cooperation with Pakistan for the benefit of both countries.

Bill Gates, co-chairman of the Bill and Melinda Gates Organization, said that he looks forward to extending the relationship between the Pakistani government and his foundation in order to address problems of mutual concern.

In a letter to President Dr. Arif Alvi, he complimented Pakistan’s high-level commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of every child in the nation.

Bill Gates also lauded Pakistan’s efforts to eradicate poliovirus.

He thanked the President for giving him a warm welcome on his first trip to Pakistan, and he thanked him for receiving the national award, the Hilal-e-Pakistan, for his many contributions to the Pakistani people, especially in the fight against polio.

Pakistan has made big progress against wild poliovirus, Bill Gates said. There haven’t been any cases in over a year.
