At the China air show, the C919 narrow-body jet will be seen for the first time by the public.

The C919 narrowbody jet will take part in the opening flight display at China’s biggest air show in the southern city of Zhuhai on Tuesday, according to a schedule posted by the show’s organizers. This will be its first public flight or display.
Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China (COMAC) makes the C919 It is meant to compete with single-aisle jets made by Airbus SE (OTC:EADSY) and Boeing (NYSE:BA) Co., but it has never been shown off or flown in public.
At the air show, China will show off its own civil and military aviation technology. About 740 businesses will be there, both online and in person.
The organizer’s official WeChat account confirmed that the C919 would be there by putting it on the schedule. For each of the six days of the airshow, it will put on a 15-minute flying show.

COMAC held a certification ceremony for the C919 at the end of September. It can now be sent to its first customer, China Eastern Airlines (NYSE:CEA) Corp., but it needs a separate production certificate before it can start making a lot of them.
The world’s largest amphibious aircraft, the AG600, which was made in China, will also be there, as will the Y20 military transport aircraft.
